If you are thrilled by excursions in the countryside, if you enjoy discovering far-away and unknown places in Greece, if you love history, culture and local customs, then you are in the right place! We at ATRAPOS organize activities of small groups of people, such as trekking,  historical and cultural explorations and we offer you the opportunity to taste the local cuisine at the Greek mountains and villages!

ATRAPOS is a non-profit firm, established in 1997 by three friends (Christos, Maria and Yiannis) who love nature and enjoy meeting the inhabitants of the mountainous villages of Greece. Our effort aims to promote alternative tourism, always with respect to the beauty of nature and the authentic social and economic fabric of the local communities.

Our programs combine trekking to known and unknown trails of varying degrees of difficulty (easy, medium, difficult), with visits to places with a special interest (natural, historical, or cultural), offering the participants the opportunity to spend some time in a delightful and creative manner. And if trekking requires most of the daytime, night time provides colourful experiences too, since we choose to either camp outdoors, stay in small inns, or we are offered the hospitality of the locals.

We, the founding members of ATRAPOS, having accumulated plenty of experience through the years, escort each and every excursion, able to communicate in three languages (Greek, English and French).  We are very much convinced that each excursion is different from the other, not only because each group of participants is different, but also because of our choice of destination, the season of the year and, of course, the weather conditions.

Finally, we offer excursions adjusted to the various local festivities, or special excursions on demand.
